We are nuts about preservation here, so not a single fabric scrap goes to waste. Minimal environmental impact takes precedence over everything, and incorporating would-be waste into our design process sees unique creations come to life from the remnants of others. This transformation starts with sorting! The groups are defined by color coding, size, shape, fabric composition and weight. Then we designate their desired applications such as hand weaving, pleating, mosaic, smocking, and the very little bits for stuffing. We see the “end” of textiles’ lifecycle as their new beginning!
